Chris Valentin, also known as DJ Phlipz (pronounced FLIPS), has been a staple of the DC Metro area DJ scene for almost 20 years. With his vast knowledge of music coupled with an energetic and outgoing personality, he has become one of the most sought after music selectors for all types of parties that range from nightlife to private events to luxury weddings to galas to grand openings and more.
While locking down these events in his hometown area of the DMV (DC, Maryland + Virginia), DJ Phlipz has also traveled the world taking his unique style of open format DJing to headline and open clubs, rock parties for countless high end corporate clients and also curate the vibes for couples at their luxury destination weddings. DJ Phlipz is a true DJ’s DJ who started out his career rocking on 12” vinyl - two turntables and mixer- and has stayed relevant and on top of his game over the years by truly being himself, building lasting relationships in the many event industries that he is currently a part of and also being able to readily adapt to constant changing DJ trends and technologies.
With his hard work over the years, he has been able to secure gigs and be handpicked to DJ with numerous artists including The Black Eyed Peas, Cee-Lo, LMFAO, Sheryl Crow, Robin Thicke, Fatman Scoop, Dev, Far East Movement, and Hypercrush among others.
